ABOUT THE GLENDALE FLATS
Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, The Glendale Flats was originally built during a period of unbounded 1920’s optimism as a hotel with the promise of unique rooftop air service to downtown Los Angeles via airship.
The building retains its historic charm, even without the airship service originally promised. The Glendale Flats retain their original brick façade and vintage storefronts. The hotel rooms have been converted to 76 period-authentic rental flats featuring original windows, brick walls and built-ins.
The Glendale Flats are located at the intersection of South Glendale Avenue and East Broadway in the historic city-center of Glendale, California.
