The Mayfair Hotel

1256 W. 7th St, Los Angeles, CA 90017

ABOUT THE MAYFAIR HOTEL

Built in 1926, The Mayfair Hotel is a 13-story Renaissance Revival style building with a rose-ruffled brick exterior with architectural terra cotta made to resemble rusticated stone.  Other unique architectural features of the building include arched windows with ornamental keystones, semicircular balconettes with decorative parapets and recessed bas-relief medallions.

The Mayfair lobby features double-height arcades that connect the ground floor restaurant and bar to the mezzanine above.  The piers of the Mayfair arcades feature designs of scrolls, honeysuckle and urns in a decorative frieze.

The Mayfair Hotel is located just outside the Downtown Los Angeles Financial District, yet walking distance to it and Staples Center.  The Mayfair’s unique position in Downtown Los Angeles affords unique site lines from virtually every hotel room window, from sweeping views of the downtown skyline to panoramic views of the Hollywood Hills.

Abundant crew parking is available at this venue.
